Seminar on Medical Coding: Unlocking New Career Paths
Axis Colleges, in collaboration with American Academy of Professional Coders and Institutions' Innovation Council, organized an insightful seminar of Medical Coding on 10 April, 2025 for its student’s pharmacy and life sciences. We were honoured to host esteemed guests from the AAPC International Team – Mr. Vinay Singh, Sr. Manager - Talent Success, and Mr. Manish Dev, Sr. Manager - Operations, who shared in-depth knowledge about the importance of medical coding in healthcare documentation, billing systems, and global compliance. They elaborated on coding systems like ICD, CPT, and HCPCS, and encouraged students to explore dynamic career paths in healthcare IT and medical data management.
